Lieutenant Schnieders was the only survivor of a two-car collision enroute to a residential burglary alarm. According to Schnieders attending physician “(Schnieder) did not suffer from internal bruising…(but the) injuries would have been much more serious, possibly even fatal, if it had not been for his (Second Chance®) vest…”
