As Officer Wanamaker escorted a student off campus, he was attacked by two other students. As he attempted to wrestle one of his attackers to the ground, the other one began kicking him. Officer Wanamaker received cuts to his back and face. Another officer who was nearby quickly responded and the attackers fled. A weapon was recovered at the scene but it is was not used in the attack.
