On December 18, 2008, SWAT executed a high risk search warrant upon a meth operation. The team made entry into the home and upon entry to the interior bedroom in the basement level, they met a barrage of gunfire. Officer Huddle, the point officer in this instance, was carrying a Intruder shield that received two hits from the suspects gunfire. St. Anthony PD credits the Intruder shield for saving Officer Huddle’s life.
