On April 25, 2010, Officer John Miller was responding to a call when a car ran a stop sign and collided with his vehicle, causing Officer Miller to strike a curb, tree and house.
Officer Miller was rushed to the hospital where the Emergency Room doctor commented, “It’s amazing there were no internal injuries or broken bones.”
Captain Carman of the Linwood Police Department further stated that doctors credited Officer Miller’s GH Lite Level IIIA armor for absorbing the trauma and preventing serious injury.
