On October 28, 2015, Officer Alan Loskoch of the Harmony Police Department was patrolling in a neighborhood when he came across a suspicious individual casing vehicles at 3:45 a.m. As he approached the individual, the suspect opened fire into Officer Loskoch’s vehicle, striking him twice in the chest. Both rounds were stopped by his Second Chance MR01 Level II armor and Officer Loskoch was able to stay in the fight and return fire.
The assailant fled but was later taken into custody. Officer Loskoch was treated and released at the hospital and has returned to full duty.
