On September 29, 2006, Corporal Brandon Lee Cardella was patrolling on his department motorcycle when an SUV made a right turn and hit the rear of his bike.
Corporal Cardella slid across the pavement and hit the curb, causing both he and his motorcycle to launch into the air. After hitting a tree and striking a building at approximately 35 miles per hour, Corporal Cardella suffered multiple injuries.
Doctors credit his ABA® XT3A-2 armor, which he received just a few months before the accident, with protecting his torso and helping to save his life.
We welcome Corporal Brandon Lee Cardella, SAVE #1972, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
