On June 12, 2017, Deputy Claude Hudson Jr. and his partner Deputy Keith Liford were serving a warrant at a residence when the occupant opened fire with a .45 ACP weapon. Although both deputies were hit, they were able to return fire and eliminate the threat.
Deputy Hudson was hit in the chest and his Safariland® Xtreme® ballistic panel stopped the round. Both deputies have been released from the hospital and are recovering from their injuries.
We welcome Deputy Claude Hudson Jr., SAVE #1983, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
