On March 1, 2014, Officer Jack Justice of the North Olmsted Police Department was driving home after his shift when a motorist who was under the influence crashed into his vehicle. The Dodge Ram pickup truck was equipped with a snow plow in the front, causing severe injuries to Officer Justice, and requiring life-flight transportation to the hospital.
Thankfully, Officer Justice was still in uniform and wearing his ABA® BR01 level IIIA armor. His many doctors credit his armor in saving his life during this accident.
After many months of physical therapy, Officer Jack Justice will soon be returning to work.
