On the evening of December 28, 1974 , Officer Larry Manley and his partner received a call on an alarm at a local business. After entering the building, Manley and his partner split up, with Manley taking the top floor to look for entrants. While on the upper floor, the roof gave way and Manley fell to the floor below. Manley’s body hit a large metal object and his left portion of his rib cage took the brunt of the fall. He sustained only a few bruised ribs and a broken foot. Had is not been for his Second Chance® vest, he may not have been able to “limp” away from this fall.
We welcome Officer Larry Manley, SAVE #25, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
