Officer Michael Metz was called to the home of a mentally ill patient that was running around his neighborhood naked. Upon arriving at the home, the subject became increasingly agitated and lunged at Metz with an 8 inch wooden stake . Metz’s Second Chance® vest deflected the stake preventing any serious chest injury.
