Somebody tried to give Sgt. Thomas Buckley another navel when he placed a .32 against his stomach and pulled the trigger. If Buckley were meant to have such a physical abnormality he would have been born with it. The bullet, bearing the imprint of the cloth of the Second Chance® vest he was wearing, was later recovered from the back seat of the patrol car that took Buckley to the hospital.
