Officer Lane’s vest proved to save not only his life, but those around him. He was involved in a head-on crash and due to his Second Chance® vest absorbing the brunt of the impact, was able to exit his cruiser. This allowed Lane to give first aid to the other injured parties while waiting for the ambulance, reducing the chance of any fatal injuries for all parties involved.
