Officer Lanza considered his Second Chance® to be an inexpensive life insurance policy. He made a claim on it in 1976. Being a member of the Tactical Patrol Unit, Lanza was sent to the New Rochelle Public Library in regards to a bomb threat. During the search, the bomb detonated, and Lanza was thrown from the fifth floor and landed a floor below. After regaining consciousness at the hospital, Lanza and his doctors were amazed that the only injury he sustained was a concussion.
We welcome Officer John Lanza, SAVE #75, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
