In a hail of gunfire, after a robbery attempt, Officer Snyder was hit five times with a .38 special, in the right leg, the right arm, left hand and forearm, and the left breast directly over the heart. His assailant was hit four times. Officer Snyder was wearing an overcoat, sport shirt and T-shirt “and a thin skin!”
