Officer William Gatlin and his partner answered an “unknown trouble” call at a local restaurant. Upon arriving, Gatlin and his partner were greeted by a 13″ Army bayonet, in the hands of an intoxicated subject. During a scuffle, Gatling remembers feeling several impressions across his chest and abdomen. It wasn’t until after the fight that Gatlin realized he had been stabbed, but his Second Chance® vest protected him from any injury.
We welcome Officer William Gatlin, SAVE #121, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
