Sgt. Graeter was at the scene of a fire when a pickup truck sped through the scene at a high rate of speed. Graeter jumped into his patrol car in pursuit. Not too many miles up the road Graeter pulled the truck over. On the second order from Graeter to exit the truck, the driver came out blazing with his Colt Peacemaker .22 Magnum. It was, however, no match for Sgt. Graeter’s S&W .44 Magnum. Both guns found their mark on the victims. Graeter had the “greater edge” because his Second Chance® vest caught and held the .22 mag slug. The lawman’s .44 slug met no resistance.
