Officer Patterson was responding to a silent alarm in Charleston, SC, when his police unit was broadsided by another vehicle. The collision caused Patterson’s car to spin throwing the officer into the steering wheel and coming to rest against the jagged metal of the impact area. Patterson suffered multiple lacerations with several cuts and slashes found on the carrier of his Second Chance® vest. Dr. Archibald Martin, departmental physician, stated, “the vest was a critical factor in not being injured worse, even fatally.”
We welcome Officer Bob Patterson, SAVE #201, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
