Officer Beechinor was in a squad car involved in a high-speed pursuit of a vehicle attempting to evade arrest. The chase criss-crossed the city several times leading to the total destruction of both vehicles. Beechinor’s chest and Second Chance® vest bent the steering wheel and column out of shape, but kept his chest intact.
