This “rookie”, with 10-months of action under his belt became a veteran real quick when the B&E suspect he was foot-chasing turned and leveled a .357 at Westrick’s uniformed body. Westrick took the hit in his left hand, holding his flashlight. The bullet careened off the light and lodged into his Second Chance® vest just below his badge. Westrick returned fire hitting his assailant three times.
We welcome Officer Aaron Westrick, SAVE #265, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
