Officer Burns, serving a warrant on a subject for fighting at a local bar, approached the subject and while escorting him back to the police car became involved in a struggle with the subject. The assailant poked Burns several times in the chest and heard, “a tinging sound of metal against metal.” The accused then ran away and Burns saw a knife in his right hand. Burns” Second Chance® K30 plate had a dent in it and the knife, confiscated from the assailant, bore a bent tip.
We welcome Officer Mark Burns, SAVE #327, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
