Officer Terranova began his accident with a spin out of his lane, striking another vehicle who flipped his car over a five-foot fence and into an opposite traffic flow. He was then hit head on by a semi-trailer flipping Terranova onto and off the truck roof where he then skidded for another eighty feet. The engine of his car was literally pushed into the driver’s compartment driving the steering column into Terranova’s chest. The Second Chance® armor with a K30 metal plate saved Terranova from certain death.
