Sergeant John Williams was nearly killed by a suicide suspect that set bombs to explode when Williams opened the entry door of the house to which he was answering a call. The violent explosion that ensued “was probably enough to have killed Mr. Williams,” writes his attending physician. “But, fortunately he (Williams) was wearing your Second Chance® body armor” protecting him from “certain, at least major injury, if not death.”
