Long and his partner responded to a silent alarm at a local fast food outlet. As his partner covered the rear, Long approached the drive thru window. The subject was crouched on the floor and fired through the glass striking Long directly over his heart protected by his Superfeatherlite II armor. The two camo clothed men then ran out the front door escaping into the nearby woods.Long later discovered a .32 slug laying in the bottom of his Second Chance® armor carrier.
