Tomesh responded to a burglary-in-progress alarm and was attempting to circle the building when a masked subject exited the building in front of Tomesh. The officer yelled at the individual to stop and as the subject turned to face Tomesh, a small red dot raced across the snow from the subject to the officer. Tomesh saw the dot stop on his Second Chance covered chest just before he heard the bark of the subject’s .40, sending a slug at the officer. Tomesh was able to return fire but missed the escaping assailant. The shooter was apprehended later with the help of the assaulted officer.
We welcome Officer Kenneth Tomesh, SAVE #649, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
