Cpl. Robertson was on motorcycle patrol when he was hit head on by a passenger car. Robertson was thrown onto the hood of the car taking full front blunt chest trauma and then hurled over the car onto the roadway. Dr. Hollifield, ER physician, states, Officer Robertson would have received more severe chest wall and lung damage had it not been for the protective vest (Second Chance® Monarch II) he was wearing
