Officer Rowe was on duty and in a squad car when he responded to a call of a man with a gun. Officer Rowe saw the subject that matched the description and got out of his vehicle. When he approached the subject, the subject pushed Officer Rowe to the ground and pulled out his weapon and shot Officer Rowe in his lower right back. The bullet struck his brand new Second Chance® Body Armor (which was not issued by his department). Officer Rowe is thankful that he was wearing his Second Chance® Body Armor.
