Deputy Jason Alexander was on patrol on freeway I-75 during a snowstorm. Visibility was very poor. He was stopped on the side of the road preparing an accident report on a vehicle that had gone into a ditch and was unbelted at that time. Alexandar’s unit was hit from behind by a semi wrecker and he was thrown against the steering wheel of his patrol unit. The impact was so severe that his T-15 plate was bent by the impact and the patrol car was so badly mangled that the “jaws of life” had to be used to get him out.He was taken to the hospital, treated and released. According to Jason’s physician, his life was saved by his Second Chance® armor.
We welcome Deputy Jason Alexander, SAVE #890, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
