Officer Randall Pitts was involved in an automobile accident while on duty in Fairfield, CA. His patrol car struck a brick pillar and he was treated for a head laceration and minor chest trauma. His ULTIMA IIIA vest was determined to have saved Officer Pitts from more severe trauma to his chest.
