Six year vet officer Dennis Eddy was working the special enforcement unit where they recognized a parolle, they engaged in a foot pursuit, the suspect turned and shor Officer Eddy in the chest and the leg. Doctors were unable to save his leg, which had to be amputated. Officer Eddy underwent extreme Physical Thereapy and returned to duty.
