Officer involved in an automobile accident. During a pursuit, he swerved his patrol car to avoid hitting a vehicle that turned in front of him and hit an embankment causing the patrol car to go airborne. Even though Hinson was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, he was ejected and landed about 125 ft from the scene. His injuries were considered critical. The shock plate in his vest was bent in three places from the impact from the steering while and steering column.
We welcome, Officer Edward Hinson, SAVE #1385, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
