FEATURES
The Alpha Foxtrot Romulus features a newly engineered aluminum grip designed to enhance balance, control, and overall shooting performance on the double-stack 1911 platform.
Proudly made in the USA, the all-metal Romulus combines this precision-machined grip with a SUS416 stainless steel frame and a bull-ramped, compensated barrel that helps reduce muzzle rise for flatter, faster shooting.
The aluminum grip reduces flex under recoil, helping to improve stability and provide a more consistent feel shot after shot. Refined ergonomics ensure a secure grip in tough conditions. Up top, a DLC-coated forged steel slide offers increased durability and wear resistance for long-lasting performance.
The pistol features performance-oriented elements, including a sharp 3.5-lb trigger, Night Fision sights, an integrated tactical rail, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and a flared magwell to speed up reloads. Each Romulus comes with two high-capacity magazines—one 17-round and one 20-round—and is available in 3.5
ZOOMING OUT
So, their website still says “coming soon” for these pistols. However, I’ve felt other versions of the Romulus, and I’m quite impressed. Everyone is trying to come out with the “Goldilocks” double-stack 1911—the one that offers exceptional performance at a friendly price point.
I think what Alpha Foxtrot/Dasan USA is doing is intriguing and definitely moving toward that goal. Hopefully, the feature set will match its quality and perceived value.
