About Chris Rhodes
Chris Rhodes is a USMC infantry combat veteran, civilian LE K9 handler veteran, and a professional gunsmith. His USMC career took him to Iraq for the initial combat phase as a TOW missile man. In law enforcement he worked a dual purpose K9 for patrol and narcotics. Chris’ focus in the gunsmith world has always been on custom handguns; more specifically handguns tailored to hunting and competition. This led to him founding the largest gathering of handgun hunters in the world, Handgun Hunter’s Competition. Handgun hunting has been his passion for a couple decades now. Hunting his home state of Wyoming with nothing but a pistol or revolver drives him to practice on the range constantly. Chris also competes as a pro-shooter for Team Ultradot, Spohr revolvers, and other companies.
