FEATURES
Bear Creek Arsenal is entering the AK market with its new AK-47 modern rifle, a platform that combines the classic Soviet pattern with several updates developed in-house at the company’s Sanford, North Carolina, facility.
Leveraging years of experience producing AK-47 barrels for other manufacturers, the rifle features a BCA-made barrel crafted from 4150 Chrome Moly Vanadium and finished in Parkerized coating for corrosion resistance and durability. The barrel is engineered for consistent accuracy, even during extended range sessions.
True to the platform’s reputation, the rifle offers the familiar ease of use and simple maintenance of the AK, along with the rugged reliability the design is known for. To further modernize the rifle, Bear Creek Arsenal includes an integrated receiver rail mount, allowing shooters to attach various optics or accessories. The design features padded stock with a soft rubber butt pad, helping reduce recoil and improve overall shooting comfort and control.
ZOOMING OUT
More affordable AK-47s are a good thing. An AK from a manufacturer with extensive experience is also advantageous. Keep an eye out for BCA’s official launch on March 31st.
