Finally! I say that emphatically, but finally Glock is set to release new, high-capacity (I say that with air quotes because what’s high-capacity?) magazines for the Glock 43X, 48, and 44! And yes, these are OEM magazines—meaning they are official Glock parts.

- Model(s): G43X, G48, & G44
- Caliber: 9mm & 22 LR
- Capacity: 15-rounds
- Construction: Metal, Polymer
- Price: N/A
FEATURES
GLOCK, Inc. has officially unveiled new 15-round magazine options for several of its most popular platforms, expanding both capacity and capability across its lineup.
The G43X and G48 SLIMLINE pistols, chambered in 9×19 mm, will now ship with a 15-round GLOCK magazine featuring a metal, double-stack design that increases capacity without requiring changes to the standard magazine catch, thanks to a thoughtfully engineered radius in the magazine catch recess.
For rimfire shooters, the GLOCK 44, chambered in .22 LR, also receives a capacity boost with a 15-round magazine built around a polymer, double-stack design and integrated load-assist for easier handling.
ZOOMING OUT
Yes, I acknowledge that other manufacturers have already created and offered high-capacity magazines for the SLIMLINE models. But that often required swapping out the polymer mag release for a metal one.
These updated SLIMLINE models will come as they should have from the beginning—with 15-round metal magazines. While this is a small change and seems like a no-brainer, people will be excited about it. I mean, I’m excited.
