Features
The Tisas 45 Raider Special is a full-sized single-stack 1911 with a forged steel frame and slide and an eight-round capacity. The frame and slide are finished in an olive green cerakote and features a short black anodized aluminum trigger and a full universal light rail. The grip wears G10 panels and has a flat mainspring housing and lanyard loop. The grip also houses an extended beavertail grip safety, skeletonized hammer, and an enlarged ambidextrous thumb safety.
The standout features are the inclusion of a 5-inch hard chromium-coated barrel that features .578-28″ threads for mounting a suppressor. In addition, the slide is cut for a RMSc footprint optic and comes with a 507k and RMSc optics mount. With the included Glock rear sight and Novak front, this allows for a 1/3 co-witness with a red dot.
“The .45 caliber 1911 Duty 45 Raider is an awesome looking, and extremely well performing handgun,” stated SDS Arms CEO Chris DiCenso. “Our design team made sure to add the features that those who carry a weapon every day wanted.”
The Raider Special is a Series 70 style pistol for an enhanced trigger pull. Other features include a titanium firing pin, a traditional and reliable GI guide rod, and a stainless steel barrel bushing. The new Tisas USA Raider Special 45 ships with a cleaning kit, bushing wrench, and a pair of eight-round stainless steel magazines, all of which comes at an MSRP of only $749.99
