City of Aurora to Purchase 427 VIEVU LE4 Body Worn Cameras
Purchase Includes Three-Year Subscription of VIEVU Solution, the Next Generation Cloud-Hosted Evidence Management System Built on the Powerful Microsoft® Azure Government Cloud
SEATTLE, Jan. 7, 2016 – The Safariland Group, a leading provider of a diverse range of safety and survivability products designed for the public safety, military, professional and outdoor markets, today announced that the City of Aurora has elected to purchase 427 VIEVU LE4 body worn cameras.
The purchase also includes a three-year subscription of VIEVU Solution, the next generation fully-hosted cloud evidence management system. Built on Microsoft® Azure Government Cloud, the first enterprise cloud to directly support the FBI’s Criminal Justice Information Services Division (“CJIS”), VIEVU Solution will allow the APD to securely upload videos and store their data in the Cloud without concern over CJIS compliance.
