Safariland Announces Ultra-Strong Adhesive Tape for Law Enforcement and Defense Markets
Dyneema GT 60 material offers superior adhesion fifteen times more than other similar products
ONTARIO, Calif. – Safariland® today announced a new adhesive product for the police and military markets with its Ultra-Strong Tape. Constructed of Dyneema® GT 60 material, this heavy-duty tape offers superior adhesion, high UV resistance, and a high strength-to-weight ratio for various industrial and safety applications.
The new solid state adhesive tape from Safariland utilizes DSM Dyneema high-performance materials and manufacturing expertise to meet the need for improved strength in law enforcement and defense applications such as securely restraining suspects, enhancing safety during explosives or ordnance disposal, emergency towing or hitching, securing heavy loads, and other tactical uses.

Fifteen times stronger than existing general duct tape products, the Dyneema® GT 60 material utilized in this adhesive tape is chemically inert and moisture resistant, with mechanical properties not influenced by the presence of water. This is a significant contrast to other synthetic tapes.
