The Safariland Group Appoints Tarey Gettys as Vice President and General Manager of VIEVU
Will oversee growth initiatives across body worn camera and digital evidence management system platforms

Gettys will be responsible for leading VIEVU’s growth initiatives across its body worn camera and digital evidence management system platforms and for working with government and law enforcement officials on the creation and implementation of policies around these technologies.
Gettys brings nearly two decades of experience in the financial and safety and survivability industries. Most recently, he was Regional Director at Dimensional Fund Advisors, a $415 billion global investment firm, where he was responsible for relationship management, business development and for leading sales-related initiatives. He was previously a Vice President at PIMCO and a Senior Vice President at Amundi Smith Breeden, where he led client service initiatives and sales teams. Prior to his career in finance, Gettys served in the United States Navy, as both a Surface Warfare and SEAL Officer. Gettys holds an MBA from Stanford Business School and a B.S. in mathematics from the United States Naval Academy.
