On April 6th, 2024, while working at the Horizon Juvenile Detention Center, Correction officers Jermaine Taylor and Andrew Thomas were involved in altercations with inmates, and heir Safariland® Prism® 3 armor, worn in M2 carriers, protected them from improvised edged weapons. Both Correction Officers have returned to full duty.
