On January 5, 2020, Brinks Armored Truck Guard Andrew Schram was driving his route when a third party vehicle crossed into his lane causing them to collide head-on. Both vehicles were traveling approximately 85 km/h (over 50 mph) at the time of the crash.
Guard Schram was belted in and his PSP GPA Level IIIA armor absorbed enough of the impact that his injuries were greatly reduced. He credits his armor for being able to quickly return to full duty.
