Officer Andrew Lynch

New Providence Police Department - New Jersey Saves Club

On August 9th, 2024, Officers of the New Providence Police Department made a traffic stop on Route 78 West. As they were clearing the stop, a driver suspected to be under the influence and traveling at 75 MPH hit Officer Andrew Lynch’s patrol vehicle. The patrol vehicle was then driven into a second Patrol vehicle and it hit Officer Lynch who was standing in front. Officer Lynch was thrown up on an embankment by the severe impact. His torso was protected by his Safariland® SX™ SX02 level IIIA Armor. Officer Lynch is still in physical therapy and hopes to return to full duty soon.

We welcome Officer Andrew Lynch as Save #2236 to The Safariland Group Saves Club®.
