On October 18, 1982, while on patrol within his township, Officer George Weihermuller received a call for an infant in cardiac arrest. While enroute to this call, he was involved in a head-on collision in which the other driver died as a result of a blow to the chest. While recuperating in the hospital, “…I learned that had it not been for my (Second Chance®) bulletproof vest I was wearing I would have either been killed or suffered more chest injuries…”
We welcome Officer George Weihermuller, SAVE #299, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
