On September 21, 2010, Sheriff’s Reserve Deputy Anthony Ducourneau was in a Motorcycle accident on a mountain road during training. He hit a guardrail and needed airlifted for emergency treatment. He suffered major road rash on his arms, face and legs and a severely lacerated and fractured left foot and ankle. His torso took little damage, and he credits his Safariland® T2 level IIIA armor in an APEX® Carrier with protecting him from more severe injuries. Deputy Ducourneau was able to recover and return to duty.
We welcome Reserve Deputy Anthony Ducourneau as Save #2207 to The Safariland Group Saves Club®.
