Patrolman James Walsh had his Second Chance® vest for only two weeks before it paid for itself in full. In May, 1974, Walsh and his partner were called to a domestic complaint. Upon arriving at the scene, Walsh approached a man and woman arguing in front of an elevator. As he attempted to step between the two, Walsh was stabbed several times by the female subject with a knife she had concealed in her coat pocket. Due to his vest, Walsh only suffered a cut up shirt.
We welcome Officer James Walsh, SAVE #10, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
