Officer Graham came into contact with a chemical load that had been dumped in a field during the crash of a crop duster. Graham was saturated with the chemicals and lost consciousness immediately. He spent 57 days in intensive and critical care units however his situation would have been worse if his vest had not absorbed absorbed much of the chemicals that would have affected his organs.
