Officer Pelletier was one of several officers responding to a family disturbance call. A man with a gun met them at the door. He opened fire, scattering the officers. As Chuck dove over the hood of his car he felt a sting in his side. Pelletier returned fire, wounding the suspect. After the incident, he found a .22 slug buried in the edge of his Second Chance® vest.
