Transit Officer Jerome Schwartz credits his Second Chance® vest for saving his life as he fended off a knife attack. A woman slashed Schwartz with a 5″ blade when Schwartz tried to break up a fight between her son and another teenager at a crowded subway station in NYC. The knife struck him in the stomach, but bounced off the vest he was wearing, leaving him with no injuries.
