Officer Carl Seaholm was attempting an arrest in a local tavern when a few of the patrons began to take an interest in what Seaholm was doing. Several punches were thrown, and a few beer bottles hit Seaholm’s head and body. One patron punched Seaholm with a fist containing a knife. The area hit was the lower right portion of Seaholm’s back. His Second Chance® vest came between the blade and his kidney.
