Officer Quebedeaux was beat by at least two inviduals with a tire jack during a riot at a Mardi Gras parade. During the altercation, his gun and holster were ripped from his duty belt. His vest deflected and absorbed the force of the blows from the tire jack. With the assistance of a civilian who intervened, Officer Quebedeaux was able to utilize his weapon retention techniques to retrieve his gun. Had his armor not protected him from being incapacitated from the blows, he could have been shot with his own gun.
We welcome Officer Todd Quebedeaux, SAVE #1248, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®
