Officer Knight was responding to a “shots fired” call and failed to stop at an intersection, resulting in a a broadside collision with another car going 80 MPH. Knight received serious head, neck, knee and back injuries. The doctor that treated Knight concluded that had it not been for his Second Chance® vest, he would have sustained serious injuries to his torso area.
